Dr Akram Hussain
RCGP Chair, AiT Network
Akram is currently a GP trainee in the Ayrshire/Arran deanery, West Scotland. An IMG from India and moved to the UK in January 2021. His time with RCGP began in November 2022, during ST1, when he was nominated for AiT chair in West Scotland. After which he went on to become the Deputy Chair of RCGP Scotland First5/AiT committee, Education lead of RCGP West Scotland and now successfully elected as RCGP National AiT Chair.
