Who can attend RCGP: A vision for the future of general practice?

We accept registrations from qualified UK-based healthcare professionals working in the NHS. We reserve the right to refuse registration at our discretion. If you have any queries regarding this please contact us at [email protected].

How do I register for the virtual conference?

All registrations must be completed online here. We are unable to complete registrations over the phone. If you have previously registered for an RCGP event organised by Haymarket Media Group, you will need to use the same email and password. If you have forgotten your login details, please click the request login details link on the registration form. You will receive an email with a link to reset your password. Please check your junk folder, this link is only valid for 15 minutes.

When and where is the virtual conference being held?

RCGP: A vision for the future of general practice will take place entirely virtually. This event will not take place in-person. All registered delegates will receive an email a week prior to the event with instructions on how to join the virtual event.

What are the event timings?

The conference programme is currently being finalised, please check back on the website here for the latest agenda. The programme will start at 08:30 and finish at 17:35 (BST).

Do you accept group bookings?

We are not currently accepting group bookings on this event. If you have a large booking you would like to complete, please let us know by contacting us at [email protected].

What is the booking confirmation process?

All registrations must be completed online here. We are unable to complete registrations over the phone.


 A booking confirmation email will be sent to your registered email address on completion of the online booking form. If you have not received your confirmation email 48 hours after submission of your booking, please contact the customer services team on +44 (0)20 8267 4011 as there may be a problem with your booking. 

Haymarket Events, organisers of RCGP conference and events, are unable to accept responsibility for the non-arrival of information. Please ensure we have up-to-date and accurate contact information. Do I have to pay to attend?

If you are an RCGP member you can book your FREE place online here. Non-member and industry tickets are available for £199. Ticket prices are per person and are inclusive of VAT.

How can I pay for my registration?

If you would like to purchase a non-member or industry ticket, please complete the online registration form here. You will be required to complete card payment

Can I transfer my registration to a colleague?

Yes. Please note that replacement delegate nominations must be made before Thursday 4 April 2024. Replacement delegates will not be accepted after this date.

Can I share my place at the conference?

All attendees are required to complete their own online booking. You will not be able to share a registration.

Can I cancel my registration?

Cancellations will be accepted up to and including Thursday 4 April 2024. 

 To cancel your booking, please log back into the registration page to cancel your booking. Alternatively, please contact our customer service team via [email protected].

Do I need to book sessions in advance?

No, you do not need to book sessions. Your registration will include access to all sessions throughout the event, plus on demand access for 3 months post-event. Please note, sponsored sessions are subject to approval in line with ABPI compliance and therefore may not be available for on demand. As the event is being held virtually, there is no limit to the number of attendees per session. 

Can you accommodate special requirements, and how can I let you know?

If you have any particular requirements, disabilities, or any other needs we should be aware of, please do let us know as soon as possible. This can be done when you register for the event online. If your requirements change or you would like to discuss your needs with a member of the team, please email [email protected]

What happens if a speaker cannot present?

Please note that speakers are sometimes prevented from presenting for personal or business reasons which are outside of our control. Although we do endeavour to find suitable replacements of a similar calibre, we cannot guarantee any specific case studies, speakers or sessions. We appreciate your understanding and ask you to check the website regularly for updates.

Will my personal information be displayed on the online event platform?

We collect your personal information when you register for the event. As standard, your name, job title and organisation will be visible to other attendees on the delegates page on the platform. This platform is only accessible to registered attendees. 

When you first log in to access the event, you will be able to select what information is displayed and whether you would like other delegates to be able to send you direct messages during the event. These settings can be amended at any time by clicking on ‘My Profile’ on the main menu. If you need any help with this, please contact the customer service team on [email protected].

Will my data be shared with sponsors and partners?

RCGP event sponsors and partners may want to share information and news about products and services with you, if you have joined or viewed their sponsored content. Haymarket Media Group, organisers of RCGP conferences and events, takes your privacy seriously. Sharing your details with sponsors and partners is always your choice and you will always be provided with a clear opportunity to indicate if you would prefer us not to share this information during registration. ATTENDING THE VIRTUAL CONFERENCE


How can I access the online event?

Joining instructions including a link to access the virtual event platform will be emailed to all registered delegates a week prior to the event. The email will also include a user guide with images and instructions on how to navigate the event platform.

Do I need any software to attend the virtual event?

You do not need any video conference software or a camera to join the virtual event. An access link will be emailed to you a week prior to the event. Please access the link using an up-to-date internet browser. The link is suitable for laptops, desktops and handheld devices.

Will there be any networking opportunities available at the virtual congress?

All attendees will have the opportunity to contact other attendees by sending and receiving one-to-one messages. There is also a networking wall where delegates can check-in online and post text or photo messages. Full details about the platform features will be included in the user guide sent with joining instructions the week of the event.

Will the conference be available to watch on demand?

Sessions will be available to watch on demand via the digital platform for up to 3 months post-event, until Friday 2 August. Please note, on demand access is subject to the permission of the speaker and where relevant the sponsor of the session. Furthermore, sponsored sessions are subject to approval in line with ABPI compliance and therefore may not be available on demand.

When and how will I receive a CPD certificate of attendance

CPD certificates will be emailed to attendees within 5 working days of the live conference. If you have opted to participate by watching the on demand content after the live event, then you will also be provided with a certificate of attendance by email. On demand certificates are circulated on the last working day of the month, each month.

Can I get copies of the materials presented at the conference?

Conference slides will not be available to download post-event. Please note, some content may be copyrighted. Therefore, delegates are not permitted to share screenshots, screen recordings or images for anything other than personal use. 

How can I give my feedback?

All event attendees will be sent a feedback questionnaire to their registered email address, after the event. You will also have the opportunity to complete the feedback survey via the digital event app. If you would like to give any additional feedback or suggestions, please email [email protected].

When will the next RCGP conference be taking place?

The next event will be the RCGP Annual Primary Care Conference 2024, taking place in Liverpool from 3-4 October 2024. If you would like information about this event, including how to register to attend, please contact [email protected]
