Dr Tom France

RCGP national GP Registrar Vice Chair and a GP Registrar representative on the RCGP North West England Faculty Board

Dr Tom France is a GP Registrar training in Wigan, Greater Manchester. He is the RCGP national GP Registrar Vice Chair and a GP Registrar representative on the RCGP North West England Faculty Board. 

 

Tom studied medicine at Barts and The London school of medicine and dentistry and has since completed a PG Cert in Clinical Practice, Management and Education at UCLan.  He has held a number of representative roles and developed an interest in medical leadership after spending a sabbatical year as Barts and The London Students’ Association President while at medical school. In his current role as GP Registrar Vice Chair, he is working with the college on tackling the biggest issues facing GP Registrars and also ensuring they get the most value for their membership. Through this role he is also engaged in wider issues around postgraduate medical training through sitting on the Academy of Royal Medical Colleges Resident Doctors Committee.
