Professor Christopher Warwick

Professor Chris Warwick is a proud GP  and Primary Care Dean for NHS England in Kent, Surrey & Sussex. He leads education and training for the entire primary care workforce in the region, an inclusive champion of multi- and inter-professional working and learning. He works closely with system, regional and national NHS leaders, striving collaboratively to address the significant challenges to the general practice and wider primary care workforce. Chris is a governance expert and is fully committed to collaborative solutions to accelerate closer integration of services, and of the health and care workforce. He enjoys the honour of national strategic leadership roles as Chair of NHSE Primary Care Deans, and Vice Chair of COGPED. His own research has focused on the additional challenges faced by International Medical Graduates in their quest to become qualified GPs.
